Bamboo Yan

Co-founder of Australian Institute of Integrative Medicine 

Lecturer at Australian College of Eastern Medicine

Bamboo Yan is a passionate advocate for natural healing. Born and raised in China and Australia, she embarked on a journey of academic excellence, obtaining master's degrees in music therapy, homeopathy, and integrative medicine. She honed her skills through years of hands-on experience in several integrative medicine PhD research hubs around UTS, Western Sydney University, and UNSW, and as a member of Dr. Choong Chin Liew’s cDNA/mRNA PHD research team in The Royal Society of Medicine. She is continuously collaborating with global researchers on various projects.

Bamboo values the principles of holistic healing and consistently strives to make a positive impact in Australian Oriental medicine. Her commitment to "West meets East" medical research aims to focus on solving human chronic health problems and promoting Chi practices.

In her spare time, Bamboo enjoys composing sound/music and creating special healing methods for others. She is a multifaceted individual driven by determination and guided by the belief that man is an integral part of nature. Her dedication to bridging the gap between traditional and modern medicine drives her endeavors to create a harmonious synergy for better health and well-being. Bamboo's holistic approach to healing and her pursuit of innovative research reflect her mission to contribute positively to the field of integrative medicine, benefiting individuals and communities alike.
